These pieces were designed by customers using our online Cell Cycle application which allows anyone to create their own designs by working with a 3D simulation of cellular spring meshes. Users can define the parameters of their starting mesh and then work with the model interactively: subdividing cells, twisting and morphing the skeleton all in real time.
I’m not sure if these are intended to be bracelets or pieces of sculpture but I really like how they came out! I will try to post more custom pieces in the future…..we’ve been pretty lax about documenting things lately.

We produced some new thinner versions of our sterling silver cell cycle rings and also a new design. We are selling these prototype pieces for a special price of $100 each. They are available in our etsy shop: twist ring and bubble ring. The designs are 3d-printed in wax and then cast using lost wax casting.
The new design (featured right below) features a more detailed structure of subdivisions than we have created for any of our other rings. The front of the ring is curved in shape while the back is straight and thinner.

Ever since we started offering the 1-layer rings from our Cell Cycle collection in stainless steel, people have been asking us to carry the 2-layer rings in steel as well. I’m happy to announce that we’ve finally done it.
The twist and center rings are now available in 3d-printed stainless steel for $30 in sizes 5,6,7 + 8. We have a limited supply available…
