This flower-inspired lamp is embossed with an intricate pattern of veins that produce a dramatic effect when illuminated. Its shape references the calyx, the outer portion of a flower which forms an envelope around its petals.

Bromeliad and Calyx are the first Hyphae lamps designed for desktop 3D printers. They are available as a digital download for home 3D-printing or as a finished product made in-house at Nervous System from biodegradable corn-based plastic.
