barnacle, originally uploaded by nervous system.making some progress on the barnacle idea I had a few months ago. The whole thing is implemented in processing now as an interactive, animated system.The barnacles can be mapped to arbitary nurbs surfaces using Jesse’s nurbs library. Cells can be subdivided, etcnext we need to make some animations of the nurbs surface transforming and repercussions on the barnacle growths.then some work on making them look like barnacles and not mineral cannons
