Algae

Our Algae project was inspired by the growth of plants and algae. It is a simulation of growth where individuals expand and branch, vying for resources in an environment and repelling one another to fill space.

There are 2D and 3D versions of the system which we have used to create jewelry, textile patterns, and vases.
