Sculptural jewelry, ceramics and lamps created by reaction-diffusion. Reaction-diffusion is a canonical example of complex behavior that emerges from a simple set of rules. RD models a set of chemicals that are diffusing, or spreading; these chemicals also react with one another to create new chemicals. This simple idea has been suggested as a model for a diverse set of biological phenomena.

The ceramics are computationally generated and hand-crafted right here in our studio. From the molds to the slip and the glaze to the final piece, everything is mixed, printed, cast, and fired in house.
