This intricately perforated brass necklace was inspired by the form of seed pods. One side features a complex pattern with shifting direction and scale while the other has a more uniform cellular lattice. The two convex pieces are riveted together to form an airy pod-like structure which hangs from an 18" gold-filled chain.

About the Collection
Corollaria is a jewelry collection inspired by cellular structures in nature. Each algorithmically designed piece is made up of an intricate filigree which varies in density and direction.

The collection fuses new technologies and old. Computationally generated designs are etched from brass sheets and shaped into 3D forms in a hydraulic press.
