These bold circular earrings feature a pattern whose inspiration is lily pad meets ginkgo. The name peltate refers a leaf where the stem attaches at the center of the blade rather than the edge, generating a radially configured venation network. The pattern itself resolves as a dichotomous one where veins fork repeatedly producing a tree-like structure defined by Y shaped nodes.
The pattern was grown in our computer simulation of leaf venation and etched from a sheet of stainless steel. Choose from unfinished stainless steel and gold plated.
