A circular necklace with an intricate pattern inspired by gingko leaves. Peltate refers to circular leaves where the stem attaches at the center rather than the edge of the blade. Here we've taken the overall plan of a lilypad and crossed it with the dichotomous patterning of a ginkgo. As veins radiate from the center they fork repeatedly producing a tree-like structure defined by Y shaped nodes.

The pattern was grown in our computer simulation of leaf venation and etched from a sheet of stainless steel. It comes with an 18" sterling silver chain.
