new: nervous system jewelry in brass

We have just added a new material to our collection: brass! Many of our 3D-printed jewelry designs are now available in shiny polished brass, a gold-colored metal that is an alloy of zinc and copper.

Our brass jewelry goes through a multistage production process that combines 3D printing technology with the traditional lost wax casting process.  The pieces are first produced in wax using a high resolution 3D printer. The wax model is then encased in liquid plaster. After the plaster has set, the wax is melted out of the plaster form and molten brass is poured in. Once the metal has cooled, the plaster form is broken away to reveal a brass jewelry piece.

For now, brass pieces are special order items. But we do have a few in stock right now for immediate shipment.  Prices range from $100 – $320. See our brass jewelry here!
